Inverness will take on an unspecified first division side on July the 6th and a local select team on July the 11th but the highlight of the tour is sure to be the match on July the 9th against, Danish Super League team, FC Nordsjælland.
Craig Brewster has said that he is delighted to be taking on such top class opposition. This may come as a surprise to many Caley Thistle fans, when they hear that FC Nordsjælland have only a 5000 capacity stadium and are presently languishing 3rd bottom of the league but they have appeared in the uefa cup as recently as 2003-2004. When they cruised through the qualifying round only to go out to Greek side, Panionios in the first round.
It should also be noted that results have improved for FC Nordsjælland since they sacked their manager, Christian Andersen and replaced him with Johnny Petersen.
All in all a lot tougher opposition than we are used to seeing Caley Thistle take on in pre-season and our first match on foreign soil. Not to be missed – except by those of us who are getting married on that day
