Watkins came close to getting on the end of a Williams cross and Gary Warren planted a header over the bar, but it was not until the 31st minute that Gallacher was forced into a save.Graeme Shinnie collected the ball on the left-hand side of the area and found Greg Tansey 30 yards from goal

There did not appear a lot wrong with the goal but Caley Thistle players may have been stood offside blocking Gallacher's view.Stevenson responded for Partick with a snap-shot that Brill got down low to parry but from the resulting corner, Balatoni headed into the top corner to flatten Inverness
