INVERNESS Caley Thistle were huumiliated last night after a 6-0 humbling saw them crash out of the CIS Cup to Celtic.
To add insult to injury, lumbering Greek ox Georgios Samaras scored a hat-trick as the green half of Glasgow took the mick out of a pathetic Caley Jags.
Samaras put Celtic ahead in the 17th minute when he re-directed a Joe Ledley drive from close range.
Gary Hooper doubled the lead four minutes later, then Samaras scored his second from an Efrain Juarez pass.
The long-haired freak recorded his hat-trick with a close-range effort and Anthony Stokes netted a double including a 74th minute penalty.
ICT were missing several first team players due to injury, but there is no excuse for such a poor display from a team of professionals.
