Ref Watch for the Rangers game

Last updated : 10 August 2005 By Iain Coia
Back again this week and apologies for the delay.  I couldn't make the game so I had to rely on a good friend providing me with details.

The featured ref this week is Calum Murray.  In the past he has been reasonably fair, but this has been somewhat undone, by what can only be described as a poor performance.   If he's watched the highlights by now, he'll know that a few decisions were wrong.   Surely if he thought there was no contact on Roscoe, then he must book him...??   I believe that was the indication set out by the SFA and the Scottish League over "divers".   After last week's "assault" at Motherwell by Stephen McManus, the fans were presented with another unjustly-punished horror tackle.  (No pun intended, Ross).   Bob Malcolm could apply for employment in his local Family Planning Clinic if he perfects that kind of kick.   Even the Rangers fans I've spoken to, can't understand how he stayed on the field.

I can. It's called B.I.A.S.    ( That's   Boot In, Away Scot-free)

Ask most teams who come up against the OF.
