New Mascot

Caley Thistle are the only team in the SPL without a mascot and last month the Bank of Scotland (the leagues major sponsor) joined forces with the club and Highland Council to launch a competition to design a new mascot. The competition was open to all primary school children in the region and now three finalists have been chosen.

They are:

  1. The ICAT designed by Rachel Blackhurst, Primary 7, Lairg PS, Lairg, Sutherland
  2. The Caley Jag designed by Amy MacDonald and Stacey MacDonald, P7, Drakies Primary School, Inverness.
  3. Invernessi designed by Class Primary 1 of Central Primary, Inverness

The winning design will be made into a mascot and will be used at all Caley Thistle home games from the start of next season.
