Former Caley Jags player Barry Wilson believes ICT can emulate the famous victories of 2000 and 2003 against Celtic tomorrow night - but hopefully not the heartache of 2007.
Wilson, who is now assistant manager at Elgin, played alongside current 'old guard' Ross Tokely, Grant Munro and Russell Duncan, who will face up to the SFA's favourite team at the TCS on Wednesday.
And he believes his old pals have a great chance of reaching the semi-final where they will play either Aberdeen or St Mirren.
Wilson told the Press & Journal: "I still speak to them, Russell in particular. He is back in the team and is really looking forward to this game.
"When you get to 30 or 31 like Grant, Russell and Ross, you start counting down the number of chances you might get to go to a cup final.
"You have got to consider a home quarter-final tie against Celtic as a chance.
"I have experienced both ends of the spectrum as far as emotions go at the end of a game. In 2000 it was one of the highs of my career in a one-off game. 2007 was one of the lows, if not the lowest."
