CALEY JAGS boss Terry Butcher is emphasising the importance of the collective as his Inverness side face the final test of their unbeaten away record this year at Hearts on Saturday.
Hearts have won six straight games with Rudi Skacel, David Templeton and Kevin Kyle to the fore, but Inverness travel to Tynecastle confident of extending an undefeated Clydesdale Bank Premier League run which began last November and has survived challenges at Rangers and Celtic.
"We see Hearts as a target for us," said Butcher.
"We want to peg back Hearts on Saturday and ultimately we want to catch them and go past them.
"There are some incredible individuals on show on Saturday, but it's all about the team.
"Our players are very focused on helping the team to do well first and foremost. It's the team that wins.
"We feel the way we're playing, the way we can play and the spirit we've got, that can go a long way."
Morale is high at Inverness at present, with Butcher delighted with the contribution of his players.
He said: "They're just an incredible bunch. I can't heap enough praise on them.
"It's a great club to be at at the moment and a great team to be in."
