CALEY JAGS gaffer Terry Butcher believes that the past year has been the best in the Inverness team's history.
The club stormed the Scottish First Division title in the first half of 2010, and has made a tremendous return to the SPL, sitting clear in fourth place after 16 games.
On top of that, the team has received plaudits for the style of football being played, and the cherry on the icing on the cake is an incredible year-long unbeaten away run.
And while Butcher is delighted with the way 2010 has gone, he insists there is more to come from the Highland club.
He told the Press & Journal: “It does keep getting better and better and we are improving all the time. There is still a lot more to come from us.
"We have been fired up about keeping our away record all year.
"I think 2010 must be the best year in Caley Thistle’s history. I defy anybody to think of a better one.
"We got promotion in style and we are certainly enjoying being back in the SPL – it is terrific."
