Caley can be assured of being in safe hands for the upcoming SPL return, after goalkeeper Ryan Esson signed up for another 2 years.
10 years after making his first appearances in the SPL, the 30 year old keeper is delighted to be helping with the new season. "I'm pleased everything is settled. It was always my first choice to stay at the club."
Terry Butcher, manager, said "It is encouraging that Ryan has committed himself to us. He was outstandingly consistent last season and his experience will serve us well in the top flight. We are still looking to add another keeper to the squad, replacing Kyle Allison, who was released."
30 year old Esson made 45 appearances for Caley last season, and played for Scotland youth's and under 21's and was an unused sub for an international game against the US a few years ago. He was previously at Shrewsbury, Hereford and Aberdeen before joining the Caley Jags in July 2008.
