Duff Looking Forward

Stuart Duff wants everyone at Caley Thistle to forget the anger and disappointment this week and concentrate on finishing the SPL season on a high.

Celtic had a helping hand from referee Mike Tumilty to put Inverness out of the Scottish Cup at the quarter-final stage in midweek.

And Duff thinks everyone around the club must focus on the SPL and not look back at the cup defeat.

However, he also believes they shouldn't get caught up in the club's fight to finish in the SPL's top six for the first time.

Instead, the midfielder is focusing on each game as it comes and seeing where it takes Caley Thistle.

"We're not going to focus on top six as our main aim," he told the Inverness Courier. "We did that before and I think some of the boys felt they were put under a little bit of pressure by it.

"We just want to take it one game at a time and if the points come then so be it.

"We have four difficult games, all of them against sides above us, but we like the tag of being the underdog.

"Hopefully, we can get as many points out of these games as we can and make a push for the top six, but it all depends on how we perform and other teams as well.

"One thing is certain, though. We'll go to Dundee on Saturday and give them a right good game.

"What happened against Celtic is water under bridge."
