Caff, who has not made an appearance in the SPL since January feels that he, is beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
He said “I’m making a good recovery from the stress fracture to my back. Which is the worst thing to happen to me in football. I’m very hopeful of playing again in three or four weeks time, but it will be a challenge to win my place back”
It will indeed be a challenge as we have the second best defensive record in the SPL, perhaps with Caff once again challenging for a place we could make it the best.
Brewster, meanwhile, has said that he has no plans to make any, transfer window-busting signings. As he is happy with the depth of squad he has at his disposal. With the recent signings of Alan Morgan from Blackburn and Dennis coming back, on loan, from Hearts, Brew may just be beginning to give himself some selection headaches.
He was quoted as saying “There is no point in signing just for the sake of it as we’ve got Liam Keogh, Graham Bayne, Stuart McCaffrey and Juanjo all coming back at some stage.”
