Another set back for Caff

Caff has not feature in the first team since the 12th of April and he knows that, even if fully fit, he would have a fight on his hands to regain his place but his first priority remains regaining that fitness.

Brewster said: "Stuart went to Aberdeen today to see a specialist about his back, as he just isn't 100% with it. Hopefully we will have a clearer idea, one way or another, of what the surgeon advises. We are keeping our fingers crossed for good news."

Graham Bayne has received pain-killing injections to help him over his injury and hopes to be back in full training next week. Liam Keogh and Juanjo are also nearing full fitness. It would appear that, in the next few weeks, we will see a lot of competition for first team places. However one player not available for this week is Dennis Wyness after Greame Bennett revealed:

“The agreement we have with Hearts is that Dennis will not play against them when we meet."
