Free Celtic Tickets

A couple of weeks ago we got in touch with the admin staff at Caley Thistle with regard to how to go about getting tickets for the forthcoming Celtic game, using the SPL passport scheme. Initially there was nothing but a deathly silence coming from the club but persistent, as always, we kept on at them, until that is, we received an email stating that Celtic were not taking part in the scheme and no “free” tickets would be available.
The email also invited us to get back to them in mid-November for details of when the tickets would go on sale.

We sent back quite a stern email stating that it was our information that Celtic were taking part in the scheme and we would not dream of getting in touch with them in mid November regarding tickets for a game in September. We then got in touch with the SPL, the second time we have been forced down this route with regard to the passport scheme.

It has to be said that the SPL were very supportive and efficient. They got in touch with the club and before the day was out we received another email stating –

“I can now confirm, having spoken to a representative of Celtic FC, that they are accepting U12 passport vouchers in exchange for tickets, providing there is a full paying adult accompanying each child.”

We have to add that we take no great joy in being forced to fight for something that fans are entitled to.
Tickets are now on sale at the club priced at £23, with a restricted amount available for passport holders.
