Clubs Request Fixture Change

At present Rangers are facing a gruelling schedule at the end of October, 5 games in just 13 days. That schedule begins with the home tie against Artmedia Bratislava and ends with an away tie against the same team. The match with ICT is scheduled for the 29th, just a few days before the away leg and if postponed it would allow Rangers 6 days to prepare themselves for what will be a crucial European tie.
Caley Thistle are keen to help a fellow Scottish club and have agreed to switch the date of their game to the 12th of November, the date of the play offs for the World cup. Rangers have now made a formal request to the SPL to sanction the rescheduling of this match.
Alex McLeish said: "It's a wonderful gesture by Inverness and we thoroughly appreciate their offer."
